Lapland - Winter Swimming World Championships 2014
How could I best describe such an incredible experience? 
A 450 metre endurance swim in a carved out 25 metre swimming pool using chainsaws in the middle of a frozen river, water temperature at 0˚Celsius, fellow competitors from all over the world, no wetsuits allowed, snow mobiles, the Northern Lights, saunas, my amazing South London Swimming Club and four months to get the feeling back in my fingers. An extraordinary trip to the Arctic Circle!
